Before and After School Program

2023-2024 STB Early Morning care Guidelines
There must be a cap on the number of students who can safely participate in the Early Morning Program.
- Mandatory Pre-registration is required for any student/students who will attend the Early Morning Care Program.
- Reservations for the Early Morning Program are required – Families intending for their child/children to attend the Early Morning Program must notify Miss Tracy Reardon by Thursday of the preceeding week.
- Families can email Miss Reardon directly at treardon@stbernardselementary.org
- Students will come in the Main Entrance and walk to the Library where the Early Moring Care Program will be held this year.
- Students must come to the Early Morning Program equipped with their own materials in a zip lock bag.
- Anticipated activities :
- Reading a picture book or book for pleasure
- Coloring
- Puzzles
- Arts & Crafts
- Sign in and Sign Out will occur in the library with Miss Reardon.
FYI – Families will be credited for any monies not used last year. Families carrying a balance must pay that balance before their registration for this year will be accepted.
Before School – 7:45 AM to 8:15 AM
Students in K, Gr. 1, and 2 may arrive as early as 7:45 AM and will go to the Library. Children have quiet play time under the supervision of our teaching staff. The fee is $8.00 per hour of care. Students from K through 2 go into their homeroom at 8:15 AM.
STB After School Program Guidelines

- Reservations for the ASP are required – Families intending for their child/children to attend the ASP must notify Mrs. Teresa Badaglicca by Thursday of the preceeding week.
- Families will use the Pro-Care app or notify Teresa Badagliacca directly at tbadagliacca@stbernardselementary.org
- Students will meet in the cafeteria when called over the intercom to move to the ASP.
- Attendance will be taken in the cafeteria by Mrs. Badaglicca or a member of the ASP staff.
- Students must come to the ASP equipped with their own materials in a zip lock bag.
- Students may have snacks and drinks while in the cafeteria.
- Students must bring their own drinks.
- Students may bring their own snacks or purchase them from the ASP. Families will be billed for purchased snacks.
- Anticipated activities :
- Homework
- Outdoor games
- Reading a book for pleasure
- Videos/Music
- Coloring
- Puzzles
- Arts & Crafts
- Dismissal/Sign Out will occur in the cafeteria. Sign Out will be done by Mrs. Badaglicca or a member of the ASP staff.

This program, which runs daily, is open to all students from K to Grade 8. Students have the opportunity to work on homework, complete craft activities, or enjoy free time under the supervision of our teaching staff. The fee is $8.00 per hour.
